Drug discovery is a high-risk, high-cost, but also highly rewarding business. Evaluation of drug metabolism and optimization of drug ADME properties at an early stage is of great importance in drug discovery and development. Without proper early evaluation, many resources can be invested, and thus wasted, in candidate products that are subsequently found to have unacceptable ADME profiles when evaluated in late stages. In order to avoid unnecessary lost, Creative Bioarray has established several reliable in vitro ADME models, and offers an industrialized high-throughput ADME screening and profiling service for routine compound screening.

As a robust and useful tool for early phase drug discovery, High Throughput Screening (HTS) is widely used in hit-to-lead and lead optimization process, and enables the screening of a large number of compounds in a cost and time efficient manner. Our HTS ADME assays can be modified and customized to meet the requirements of our clients using project specific study set up. With our state-of-the-art equipment, we are able to screen up to 300 compounds per week.

The ADME screening process consists of the following 5 steps:

  1. Plate management of test compounds
  2. Optimization of the MS/MS method
  3. In vitro ADME experiments and sample clean up
  4. Collection and reduction of the raw LC-MS/MS data
  5. Archival of the processed ADME data
